Meet the Founder
Hey, I’m Kat!
I’m the photographer, videographer, and creative director behind KalonKat Studio.
My journey into visual storytelling started on film sets, spending a decade honing the craft of cinematography and camera work. That experience taught me how to shoot with precision, build strong concepts, and make magic happen in real-time.
Today, KalonKat Studio is my creative playground dedicated to bright, playful, and editorial visual storytelling. I partner with clients who believe in community, authenticity, and creating work that truly resonates.
Whether we're shooting brand campaigns, creative headshots, or engaging short form videos, I bring an easygoing, collaborative vibe to set so you can feel completely yourself while we bring your vision to life.
About KalonKat Studio
(pronounced: KAL-on-cat)
KalonKat Studio exists to bring brands to life and make people, products, and spaces feel as beautiful as they actually are.I'm Kat, the person behind the camera (and the strategy). For the better part of a decade, I've worked in film and content — behind the scenes on sets, behind the lens on shoots, and behind the screen making sure a brand's story actually looks like its story. KalonKat is where all of that comes together. At its core, this studio is about one thing: beauty with substance. Not just a pretty photo, but a photo that does something — builds trust, makes you feel more like your best self, or makes someone stop scrolling. That's the whole job.Whether it's photography, video, or the social strategy behind it, I show up as a creative partner, not just a freelancer passing through. I get invested. I get it done. And I make it feel good along the way.A Safe Space for All
On my sets, I cultivate an inclusive, welcoming environment where every person, client, and concept is supported, respected, and celebrated.
Values Over Everything
KalonKat Studio is proudly woman-owned and strictly zero-tolerance for hate, bigotry, or discrimination. I do not create content for brands or creators that promote exclusion or harm.
